@CBird73936300@FantasyBosco@MattWeaverRA@bobpockrass@jeff_gluck How is it a “poor excuse” if it’s blatantly obvious? You don’t go from having the best cars for the past several years to rarely having top 5 cars in one off season with essentially no rules changes. It’s the body.
@marsh_161x@BrakeHardBlog How is it him “running out of talent” if he did it intentionally and got away clean and the other guy still has a clean car too? He was tired of getting blocked for ~15 laps. At some point enough is enough.
@TeamKFBfan8@DirtyMoMedia@NASCAROReillyAP Turn 1 is based on 1 and 2 at Trenton, turn 2 is based on one of Indianapolis’ turns, and turn 3 is based on 3 and 4 at Milwaukee. The track lists it as 3 turns but those 3 turns were copies of 5 turns at other tracks. Their math doesn’t math.
@PvtDonutDJ88@DirtyMoMedia@NASCAROReillyAP The dogleg was never a full fledged turn and after the reconfiguration yeah they made it more pronounced but they also opened up the infield so half the time cars go straight through there anyways.
@_MattBurkart@NASCAROReillyAP@TheMKEMile Ehhh. Flat tracks are meh more often than not. It works great with a truck weekend and I’d be down for an O’Reilly race there too but idk if it’s anywhere remotely worthy of a cup race. Hell idk if that facility can handle a cup race honestly.
@Chad__15@georoc01@Patrick61332429 The track had no reason to care, from everything I’ve seen the first few years of it coming back after Covid was essentially HyVee getting a weekend track rental and the last race was just the series getting a track rental after HyVee dipped.
@crashopolis@jimbaugh9@Chad__15 It has nothing to do with anything except the awful scheduling of the race. IndyCar at gateway almost always sells out, but not for a race that starts at 9pm on a Sunday.
@Chad__15 The grandstands were in absolutely no way packed last night, but that is entirely due to the horrid idea to schedule the race for 9pm on a Sunday. Having any race start at 9pm et is an awful idea but doing it on Sunday when most people have work in the morning is downright stupid
@LARRYTHEZIP@joshcrider@jeff_gluck Not when you’re using your quarter panels to block… If Honeycutt didn’t check up Tricon would have two destroyed trucks at the hands of Heim. Heim is lucky that Honeycutt cut him as many breaks as he did in the final laps.
@JacobFuchs1997@joshcrider@jeff_gluck If Honeycutt decided to just stay in the gas rather than checking up for Heim (multiple times…), Tricon would have had two destroyed trucks and Hocevar would have won the race. Heim is beyond lucky that Honeycutt decided to give him multiple breaks on the final laps…
@bobpockrass@IndyCarOnFOX Really love how FOX decided to put half an hour of a black screen titled “NHRA Pro Mod Series” right in the middle of Indycar qualifying on FS2… Gotta be the biggest as well as dumbest fuckup I’ve ever seen from the network….
