My husband does work with teens with TS who have coprolalia and it's really tough for them. Like insanely difficult to navigate the world with those tics. Please give grace
My whole feed is about the man with Tourette's at the award ceremony and as someone who is married to someone with Tourette's, I'm holding back so much from replying to every post I see. So much misinformation
People with coprolalia have the tic that causes them to say inappropriate things. Tics are uncontrollable--involuntary. They can't help it. And a lot of the times, the tics are what you want to say LEAST in the moment like what you know to be most socially inappropriate

I always open emails with "good morning" with the intent to schedule send them for the morning and then I just click send. And then die of embarrassment

My husband and I have been attending a new church (since Feb) that we've really liked so we took the membership class on Sunday and it was so disappointing hearing their specific views on certain issues. To the point where I can't sign a membership statement.
