Author of DELETING ELECT IN THE BIBLE (proof every instance is a mistranslation) Publisher to enable revival & transform the world RT = I find of interest
Who, not out of bloods, nor out of a will of flesh, nor out of a will of a man, but out of God, they were birthed
The literal.
Birthing is not conception.
It is the ending of a process of growth within the womb of a mother. So that the physical flesh in view in John 3 mentions of that as born “out of water”: out of the waters in the womb in which the flesh was formed.
So it is with the spirit of man. It is formed within man by God (out of God). We know it is not instant as we are told God forms the spirit of man within him (Zechariah 12:1).
It is formed by God but requires release or authority to be formed by God. God releases more to those who believe in his name (John 1:12) “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:”
There is a clear cut undeniable cause and effect element here.
As many as received him which is also re-defined as “to those who believe in his name” (this needs unpacking too - maybe later): to these, this right, this further authority is released
But conception of a yet fully formed spirit involves God having given every man such a spirit - yes, spirit life - in the 1st place and to that the scripture also is clear (Job 32:8; et al)

No man is dead (and by this happens to be) in sin; man is dead *whilst* in sin (see the literal Greek: the word “in” is in the next verse - Ephesians 2:2 - but not in verse 1: the “in” in V.1 comes from the Dative of “the trespasses” and “the sins” = dead by activity of sinning and trespassing!)
Paul called out God as the God of all comfort.
Yesterday on my way to my second of 2 weekly 12 hour night shifts, as I was driving, I was reminded of two pictures the Spirit gave in a Life/House group I was in many years ago. The long and short of it is the idea that the main event - for me that is “full blown revival” - is not going to happen without me.
Today I received news by email that a request I made to an official was denied and that it would not be reviewed. This news made sense of the word of comfort and its timing.
Isn’t God good and great and wonderful!
🙂
And you are free to do so.
But God also made clear that He had a plan for the first king He chose to have his dynasty last forever (1 Samuel 13:13).
But God could not make it so when Saul rebelled.
It is only then that David begins being mentioned and to him God later promised his dynasty to last forever. Which is will since God ensured Jesus came from Savid’s line.
What God declares in advance that He ensures comes to pass. He did not declare in advance the plan for Saul. So He was not bound to fulfil it.
Hi DJ,
Yep, but that is not how God describes himself as I have previously mentioned.
God learn new knowledge anytime He makes a new decision (as per 2 Chronicles 6:5 earlier quoted).
Plato’s god was all knowing and that thinking is within some theologian’s thinking. It is not in the Bible.
God knows all that is knowable; He learns of the rest as it happens.
Your misperception and misrepresentation is telling
God says otherwise, that He cannot deny himself and that He is willing to yield.
So if you were willing to see, you would note that God is not into total control and truly reacts to unknown new decisions made by beings He created free
“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.”
2 Timothy 2:13
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.”
James 3:17
Hi DJ,
If God planned the evil that exists, as you suggest, then no vengeance exists: it is all part of a big plan.
So, your references point to the opposite of your claim/story
Vengeance on God’s part is not a pre-planned action, but a reaction to ensure all who sow evil will reap the justice they ask for.
It appears you need an understanding of a reasonable theodicy.

@DW2025X@CherylSchatz The God of the Bible is unlike the one in your story because as Jesus says well,
A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand (Matthew 22:25). God did not plan nor set up the events involved in what is known as “the fall”
You are free to believe in your fiction
Sure, but that is not the God of the Bible.
The God of the Bible tells us He makes new decisions in our historical timeline; he never fine tuned it in the first place.
Hence the flood
But more specific is His telling us of new decisions He made:
“Since the day that I brought My people out of the land of Egypt, I have chosen no city from any tribe of Israel in which to build a house, that My name might be there, nor did I choose any man to be a ruler over My people Israel.”
2 Chronicles 6:5
The version 3 Starship is so much more powerful that it lifted off ahead of the countdown. Or was it a time delay issue on the audio?
I don’t know.
The booster did not return as planned, but much data gathered. The amazing cameras and light on the last 2 deployed mock up satellites showed a view of Starship from outside for the first time. As it actually flew.
Now a vacuum engine failed, which proved a bonus because all the other engines and the gimble facility enabled all corrections necessary to soft land the ship on target. No mean feat!
Progress and tons of data.
Well done Space X
@CherylSchatz I am saying man was created with the need to eat. This means man is perishable and if he does not eat, he dies. Immortality was not part of God’s creation for man without the eating of the tree of life.
