@DrGithiria @fnoluga Doc, is this what you're referring to? The National facilities didn't advertise for the UHC staff in national facilities to apply & be confirmed into PnP employment terms, it was a direct communication by the MoH to absorb UHC staff under ONLY national facilities

On behalf of @kUCOofficial, I strongly condemn the inhumane attack on UHC staff @UHCmedicsKe today near Parliament by police officers. Healthcare workers, peacefully seeking to address six years of exploitative contracts and unpaid gratuities, were met with rubber bullets and teargas simply because the president @WilliamsRuto was passing by, a couple of our members were injured and hospitalised.

We demand that the Inspector General of police @PoliceKE clarify whether the role of police during demonstrations is to attack peaceful processions or to maintain peace and protect citizens. The more we call for reform in our police service, the more they remain unchanged.

We urge the Independent Policing Oversight Authority @IPOA_KE to investigate this incident and hold those responsible accountable. We Seek a police service, not a police force.

Furthermore, we call upon the National Assembly @NACommitteeKE to allocate the necessary funds for Permanent and Pensionable and pay gratuity to end this suffering @KindikiKithure @scherargei @HonAdenDuale @psmuthoni

@HonAdenDuale MoH Cartels Know where the Budget that was allocated in the FY 2024/25 Specifically for UHC confirmation went to.

Now, they want to wash their hands and DISCARD Some of the remaining 8000+ UHC staff to go and Suffer at the counties with UNCLEAR RESOLUTIONS as Done before.

IT IS SIMPLE:- Begin by Confirming all UHC staff to PNP at MoH, use that available budget allocated for upto 2026May/June to pay the Remaining UHC staff as per SRC and On PNP for May and June...
Then, by July ALLOCATE UHC BUDGET for 2025/26 to the Counties as you Transfer UHC Payroll.

Otherwise, how do you EXPLAIN the 114UHC Doctors confirmed Last week to PNP and serving with the rest at various counties? How do you Explain the 108UHC Staff Confirmed at National Health facilities?

In my address to hundreds of healthcare workers at Afya House, I pledged to address long-standing employment concerns affecting them, under the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) program, within the next three weeks.

I assured them of my commitment to resolving key issues, including the settlement of gratuity and transitioning workers with over five years of service to Permanent and Pensionable (PnP) terms.

Moreover, I emphasized fairness and equity in addressing health sector concerns through consultative solutions that prioritize the welfare of healthcare professionals.

Additionally, I reaffirmed my commitment to strengthening Kenya's healthcare system while cracking down on unqualified practitioners in the sector.
