I applaud you for this. The only thing (I think) you (may) lack is a bold confidence that with Jesus’ support you can change previously ingrained behaviors and choices and in the future have complete integrity even though you may have intentionally been cruel or unkind previously. If you no longer have any inclination towards selfish unkindness because of your trust in Christ, then you should consider yourself saved.

Novelty is characterized by limited examples (few exemplars). FWIW Bayesian inference breaks down here to extent. An alternate form by Robert Hecht Nelson called coherent confabulation seems to work better in novelty and approaches Bayesian as exemplars increase. I would think a mixture of experts using coherent confabulation might be more insightful yet still stable in novelty.
