@DeanTTraining lately whenever I do a heavy set of any sort (mostly on pendulum squat, smith incline press, etc.) I get a pounding headache that lasts a few minutes. Any idea what this could be and how to fix it?
@schober222 One strategy that worked for me was to log absolutely everything I ate. If it has calories, it’s getting tracked. The satisfaction of knowing you stayed on track at the end of the day beat the “satisfaction” of all the extra snacks and bites that add up quickly.
@anymanfitness I have a largely sedentary day job that if I wasn’t proactive about getting steps I would only average 2k a day sometimes. A combination of having a mindset of walking whenever possible and a walking pad gets me to 10k everyday 💯
@schober222 That was me yesterday. Super low energy after work. Ate two bananas and had a full scoop of pre-workout and ended up hitting a PR in every leg exercise.
@anymanfitness Parking far from any entrance is a super underrated tip to rack up additional steps and one that I do all the time. Added perk is always having lots of room lol
@zachhomol_ Solid advice. I know if I start by saying what I initially think I’ll probably say something to my kids that I’ll regret. Taking even a split second to think before responding is huge 👌🏼
@DeanTTraining I was 240 lbs at 6’ tall. Had never picked up a weight. I thought if I cut down to 200 I’d be 12-15% bf and muscular. I ended up cutting down to 160 to get proper lean. Very humbling. Now it’s time to start building and putting on lean tissue.
