Last resort. Ive spent hours and hours the last few days trying to speak to @BritishGas over the phone. My mums gas and hot water stopped working. I was on the phone to them troubleshooting for well over an hour and no solution, they said they would organise an engineer to come out as it would need to be fixed in person and that they would call me back with options within 30 minutes. No call back. I called back again. No notes on the file. Had to go through the tedious process of troubleshooting again to no avail. AGAIN they said they would organise an engineer to come out and didnโt bother to call back AGAIN. Today Iโve just called and been passed to new representatives over and over. Having to explain the problem over and over. No notes on the file yet again. My mum is 73 and cannot do it herself. Ive had to come home to another city and Iโm working away soon so Iโm not able to be at her house. She has no hot water or gas currently. Itโs a total disgrace how incompetent and unhelpful they have been. Does anybody have a similar experience or advice on who to call out? As I was typing this out they have just hung up on me.. again.
