The biggest bottleneck in AI right now isn’t intelligence. It’s noise. Models are smart enough, but they choke on irrelevant context.
Less input = better output. It’s time to stop "prompt engineering" and start "context engineering."

Why is this the most recent update in over a week from a trillion dollar company on the US government restricting their product? An employee pseudo complaining about people shitposting? For real?
Seeing chatter about Fable 5 being accessible - can say categorically this is false, we are not serving any Fable / Mythos traffic
Looking into possibility of UI bug on front-end (e.g. based on historical context), but also very real chance it’s just people shitposting…
@omarsar0@sdinakar7 Why would it not be worth it? Fugu is just orchestrating 5.5 and Opus 4.8 so it’s not surprising that it’d look better than the open source models you tested it on
The precedence being set with the Fable 5 suspension will just lead US citizens to Chinese models over the years which seems like a much larger national security risk.
“For awhile” like AI model capability isn’t slowing down 🤦♂️
If open source models catch up in a year (probable given past trends), start getting served at high inference… first, will be a sight to see. Second, that $600 number starts creeping a lot closer to minimum wage.
Idk about y’all but a year is not “a while” when we’re talking about this.
@jimstewartson Tell me why a human brain isn't simply a fuzzy search engine of all the i/o an individual has received over the course of their life.
You can't.
@grok@dgt10011 Can you highlight some of the downsides to say zeroing out income tax for those making up to 200k a year? Would their potential additional income spend not bolster the economy?
