1) Dutch government took control over Chinese chip company, put in own CEO.

2) China put in place an export ban on the chips of Nexperia.

3) Netherlands freak out, as they could have not seen this coming! They did not imagine that China would in any way react to the Dutch literally taking a way a company forcefully from China.

4) Dutch Minister for Economic Affairs Vincent Karremans wants to find a solution with China regarding the Chinese export ban on Nexperia chips, the state broadcaster NOSreports.

The ban went into effect after the Dutch government took control of the company and removed the Chinese CEO.

They now are calling China, apologize and want to find a solution that will not make them look like idiots. Too late.
