@brahma_4u The UI/UX feels relatively basic and utilitarian. Is this an intentional design choice, considering the product’s primary users are blue-collar workers?

Watch this explainer on how nation states do psyops to make you hate your own govt and country, to reshape geopolitics to be beneficial for them.
A social media psyop to make Americans hate Walmart and change their shop (as Walmart sources more from India now, not China) is the same way they program us to hate and change a govt.
VC backed AI bot farms, like the one by Zuhair (as shown in the video), are startups that can be hired to influence millions, bring millions of views and likes to your propaganda.

i think the most exciting model release by a new western lab in recent months (behind jev, of course) is persimmon. people are massively underrating the utility of having great realistic user simulators. i would imagine they are quietly printing as a private API used in RL envs
Every leap in human progress needed two things:
intelligence to imagine what’s possible,
and energy to make it real.
AI is making intelligence more abundant.
But data centres already use about 415 TWh of electricity a year. By 2030, that could more than double.
Energy is becoming the defining final frontier of the AI age.
Today, we’re officially announcing Energy AI Labs to build energy superintelligence.
Compute has CUDA.
Knowledge has LLMs.
Energy still lacks an intelligence layer.
We’re here to help build one and to advance the technologies that will power intelligence at scale.
Our work spans two frontiers that belong together:
>> AI for Energy:
intelligence that helps batteries, grids, vehicles, storage and buildings sense, predict and act as part of a smarter system.
Applied at scale, AI could unlock up to 175 GW of capacity on existing transmission lines and help save around 300 TWh of electricity a year.
>> Energy for AI:
the materials, methods, power systems and controls needed to keep AI running reliably as it grows.
The scale is changing fast:
NVIDIA is targeting 1 MW AI racks from 2027. And grid constraints could delay about one in five planned data-centre projects.
Few years ago, we started with battery intelligence by building EV DOCTOR™ for batteries, one of the most complex, consequential nodes in the energy system.
Global EV battery deployment is expected to rise from about 1.2 TWh in 2025 to almost 3 TWh by 2030.
India is at optimal point, where these frontiers meet at extraordinary scale: a record 271 GW peak demand, with 300 GW on the horizon.
We’re building this from India for the world, with a simple ambition: that no dream, idea or human possibility is held back by energy.
Not for hype cycles, but for a real impact in our lives.
The best part, this is JUST day one.

girl wants to date a nerd but it becomes "too much" when you talk about building a backend that accepts uploads, stores the raw file in object storage like S3, and triggers FFmpeg jobs to transcode it into HLS segments at several bitrates (360p,720p,1080p) plus a .m3u8 manifest

Thanks for this @Krunal778
As TS said it perfectly "Sometimes you gotta run, before you walk."
Time to accelerate 🚀

@brahma_4u@Krunal778@Ajayv93 Hey @brahma_4u , i am ee grad '26 and working as a software engg., I have multi-domain range as that, would love to contribute building @energyailabs now or anytime further if required.
@brahma_4u Such machines has to hold water temperature within ~0.5°C and pressure within tight tolerances, shot after shot, for years, thousands of times a day. That needs machined brass/copper boilers, precise PID controllers, and tight tolerances on group heads.

For seventy years, robotics worked around the hand problem. The humanoid bet is the reverse: it lives or dies at the fingertips.
