Incentives explain outcomes.
If politicians can win elections by stealing taxpayer money to fund welfare they will do just that.
If granting citizenship to welfare dependent immigrants is a win condition then itโs clear what politicians are motivated to do.
The bodycam footage is finally out.
And now the truth is there for everyone to see.
HeeHaw wasnโt charging. He wasnโt attacking. He wasnโt some uncontrollable threat.
He was doing what everyone who knew him said he always did: running up to greet someone in his friendly, curious way.
And for that, Officer Trenton Garner shot and killed him.
Watching the footage makes this even harder to stomach. HeeHaw was a one-year-old miniature donkey, on his own property, being himself. That should never have ended with a gunshot.
For weeks, we demanded answers. We demanded the footage. We demanded accountability.
Now we have the footage, and if anything, it makes the need for justice even more urgent.
There is no world where what happened to HeeHaw should simply be accepted and forgotten.
We are furious. We are heartbroken. And we are more determined than ever.
Officer Trenton Garner must be held accountable for what happened to HeeHaw.
We will not stop speaking his name.
We will not stop pushing for answers.
We will not stop until there is justice.
#JusticeForHeeHaw.
Now more than ever.
A white man died of thirst in a South Carolina jail.
Ruled a homicide.
Here's how many stories ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNOW and CNN have run on Gary "Bubba" Blair:
ABC: 0
NBC: 0
CBS: 0
MSNOW: 0
CNN: 0
Not one story on their websites.
Not one post on their national X accounts.
But the same week his death was ruled a homicide, CBS and ABC found time for a story from that exact same jail.
An inmate who escaped his cell with a pencil.
The pencil got national coverage.
Bubba got nothing.
His family's attorney says he died of dehydration.
6 black jail employees have been fired.
No one has been charged.
Local reporters at Queen City News did the work. The national networks looked away.
Justice for Bubba. Say his name.
Youtuber builds system that mimics Flock to spy on cops.
Cops show up at his door and ask what he is going to do with all the data he is collecting.
Youtuber responds that this is the exact same concern citizens have when you use this same technology to spy on them.
