The very helpful guard confirmed it was lost on 14th Aug. The letter to notify it was found is dated 25th Oct. By the time this reached me in the post I would have had a fortnight to collect.

@SW_Help I lost my wallet in Aug. You wrote me a letter in Oct saying it would be kept for 3 months. I come to collect it within that time and the lovely guard tells me it was destroyed in Nov?! This is negligent and infuriating. Please contact me to resolve.
