@Kent_Wilson I think it’s a chemistry issue. Huberdeau is a much different player than Gaudreau was. I really believe it’ll just take sometime and things will come together. It’s good that we have a solid second line.
@DarrenWHaynes I think the team coming around Tkachuk after he went down was a big deal. He seemed to have some engagement and swagger is his interview after the game. Perhaps he’s finding some confidence in the team again?
@DarrenWHaynes Gio gave the team lots but it’s time for a culture change and to do that leadership needs to change. We changed the Coaching leadership now it’s on the players.
@DarrenWHaynes Haha! Fair enough! Looking forward to interacting through the summer months. Thanks for all you do and like others have said, your perspective. I really appreciate your thoughts and insights.
@DarrenWHaynes I wonder if he just needed more of a chance to play with higher caliber players. I’m sure everyone wants to play on the big line, but maybe we run with it for a while (more than 3/4 games) and watch it develop?
In leadership You have to see what others don’t, believe where others doubt, grow where others wither, take the high road when slandered, be sturdy when others seem flimsy. In Leadership you trust in the ONE who stabilizes the soul in the most dismal of circumstances!2 Cor 6:3-10
@DarrenWHaynes What do you think they get for Bennett? I feel like it won't be as much as many of us Flames fans feel it should be. I like the guy, but think he needs a fresh start. Will really miss him in the playoffs!
@DarrenWHaynes I think Gary Bettman must be living his dream-parity. Ottawa has lost 6 games, but they are an exciting team and not to be taken for granted. Out west it's a shoot out. Unfortunately, as you say the world is tightly wound and we're impatient-myself included.
@DarrenWHaynes No knock on your comment, just an overall observation. We have a great team. Even Lucic who I gripped about the other day plays a big role. I’m hopeful for us this year. It’s going to be fun to watch.
