@CommsPhys The first three accepted manuscripts are now online.
If you're working in this area and have a manuscript that's nearly ready to go, it's not too late to join in! Accepting submissions until Jan 31st '23.
Delighted to share our latest publication on near ideal non-local dispersion compensation of SPDC photon pairs! The trick: we did this using only standard telecommunications fiber.🙃 More here: https://t.co/8qZVDMhTia
New preprint: How to build the 'optical inverse' of a multimode fibre. https://t.co/qTiDXYNWvq. Wavefront shaping of 400 fibre modes in parallel. Here is the theory - still working on the experiment! Thanks to my brilliant colleagues Unė Būtaitė & Hlib Kupianskyi! @CizmarTomas
@StevenTouzard Avalanche photodiode is a *great* name, because an avalanche is more or less exactly what's happening to the electrons. Just wanted to say though, I'm really enjoying this thread.😄
From 31 May – 4 June & 7 – 11 June 2021 #TII’s Quantum Research Centre (QRC) will be hosting its Atomtronics@AbuDhabi2021 seminar with global expert speakers.

SpooQy-1 was a success! The paper published by @opticalsociety#OSA_Optical shows that the team from @quantumlah supported by @SpeQtral_Space were able to demonstrate entanglement on board a 3U CubeSat. A great step towards global quantum comms networks!

Congratulations to Aitor and my CQT colleagues! Quite the journey to get to this point, but what an inspiring result to show for it! @quantumlah@SpeQtral_Space

@tomaslmartin @stewartwills@OPNmagazine Thanks Tom! If you have some free time this week, the #CLEO2020 conference is free to "attend" (via Zoom) and has a distressingly massive volume of great material. Better suited to your timezone than mine. ;)
