Our book is just around the corner!! Please spread the word to help us reduce women’s excessive load of unrewarded work @lrwpgh https://t.co/UVPWwomIKD
@JDHamkins Wes Montgomery was a great jazz electric guitarist. Wes was self-taught & couldn’t read music. His playing style was unconventional. When asked why he played guitar like that he said it was because no one told him he couldn’t. I never forgot that wisdom.
Great article featuring my work w/ @PankaBencsik@jmb112485@EDerenoncourt on how the murder of George Floyd affected civilian cooperation with law enforcement
Elegant analysis that Trump rallies have truly been deadly for Americans, and not just attendees. By good friend Douglas Bernheim, and his colleagues Nina Bachman, Zach Freitas-Geoff, and Sebastian Otero at Stanford University. https://t.co/VrZh9T1Ucx
@EnriqueFatas When my wife read your tweet, Enrique, she looked at me and said, “Your wife tips non-contact delivery people very well!!,” to which I replied, “Knowing you as I do, sweetheart, I would have predicted that too.”
@jben0 It’s hard to debunk because it’s hard to show it’s true, and people know this. This is the closest thing to proof a hot hand exists: https://t.co/S6GG4UdVcj
Thanks! We're very excited about our new paper. Also, don't forget about @mikeanton13 he'll be presenting it at SITE this August if anyone will be in the area.
@GivingTools@JoCutler8 @socialstriatum @Andreoni@BobSugden On warm glow 2: the warm fuzzy feeling is just one example of something that would generate these predictions. The essential bit is non consequentialist break w/ neoclassical utility.
@GivingTools@JoCutler8 @socialstriatum @Andreoni@BobSugden On warm glow: 1) you & I are both giving $10 to the same charity. 2) you give me $10 & I give the charity $20. If we’re indifferent we’re pure altruists (neoclassical consequentialists). If I pref 2 & u pref 1 we are warm glow givers (non-consequentialists w/ action utility).
Sincere congratulations and appreciation to Ted Bergstrom!

Thanks to all who attended last year's conference, and who contributed to the Special Issue of the Journal of Public Economic Theory, but especially to Manuel Muñoz‐Herrera and Nikos Nikiforakis for this generous piece. https://t.co/e2FSNpaNTw
Just setting the record straight, I never said that the warm glow turns a generous act into a selfish one. I simply said there must me some benefit from giving that makes your gift an imperfect substitute for mine. But, this is still a nice point for the authors to clarify
I’m really proud to share our brand-new campaign video.
Teachers are nation-builders. That's our job — to affect change, and to improve outcomes. But that's the job of Congress, too. So I'm running for Congress.
