@IAEANS@iaeaorg It was a privilege to participate in this exchange while reinforcing the importance of nuclear safety and safety culture on both operations and regulatory activities.
Earlier this month, @IAEAorg held its annual training on performance improvement for nuclear power plants #NPPs in #Vienna 🇦🇹, bringing together 18 participants from operators and regulators across 14 countries to exchange knowledge and share experiences.
What did the training on performance improvement for nuclear power plants provide?
A highly engaging platform for rich exchanges:
🔹on methods to further improve NPP operations,
🔹lessons learned,
🔹corrective action programmes,
🔹human performance analysis,
🔹observation and coaching,
🔹key performance indicators,
🔹leadership, and monitoring and
🔹benchmarking processes.
Throughout the week, participants also gained insights aligned with #IAEASafetyStandards 📘, complemented by practical industry practices and shared experiences.

My heart goes out to the people impacted through the heightened Middle East conflict. Having recently visited that region, I'm reminded of the many wonderful people I met, and request us all to pray for those who are suffering.
"A Christian is not a man who never goes wrong, but a man is enabled to repent and pick himself up and begin over again after each stumble--because the Christ-life is inside him, repairing him all the time." -C.S. Lewis
“As long as you are proud you cannot know God. A proud man is always looking down on thing and people: and, of course, as long as you are looking down you cannot see something that is above you.”
