What an amazing race at the armagh 5km last night, decided to go out hard from the start and hold on for a sub 14 clocking of 13:58💪
Always a pleasure to run in the welsh vest, thank you @welshathletics for the… https://t.co/CzEpcddNpZ
As Welsh families enjoyed the spring weather this half term in the town of Bridgend.
They were met by invaders sacrificing animals and cutting them up.
Not all cultures are equal.
Send these cavemen back to the mountains.
As someone on the fringes of making teams in the marathon, the continued non-selection of athletes who have met standards only serves to demotivate me
It certainly doesn't make me want to raise my game as:
1) I'm already highly motivated to be the best I can. I'm certainly not training with the hope of money or fame
2) Even if I do hit the standard, I may still not be selected!
3) It induces a distrust & dislike of the governing body so why would I want to represent them anyway?!
If anything, it pushes me away from wanting to focus on the marathon.
I love running so I would instead further explore the ultra scene.
Others though will just retire from competitve running or find a sport that values them more highly
Either way, the depth is lost

Exercising 150 minutes per week for 4 months is equally as effective as taking an antidepressant for depression, review finds.
Get outside and get moving.
Start small and easy. For many, a walk is enough when you are starting.
