In 2021, Hideo Kojima predicted that a future built entirely around digital media could leave people without access to the content they thought they owned if companies or external events changed how that content was distributed.
“Eventually, even digital data will no longer be owned by individuals on their own initiative. Whenever there is a major change or accident in the world, in a country, in a government, in an idea, or in a trend, access to it may suddenly be cut off.”
“We will not be able to freely access the movies, books, and music that we have loved. I would be a have-not. That’s what I’m afraid of. This is not greed.”
Sony is currently charging $70 for God of War Ragnarok digitally. It is $32 at Wal-Mart. The game is 4 years old.
People will no longer have options after 2028 and will HAVE to go directly to Sony’s digital storefront and pay whatever PlayStation says.

Have you guys heard about the SUPERGIRL stolen artwork situation?
Because this is wild.
DC is selling official SUPERGIRL movie merch for $119.95, with artwork by Bilquis Evely, the artist from SUPERGIRL: WOMAN OF TOMORROW.
And one of the aliens in the piece looks almost exactly like Lexo Sooger from STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI.
Not “same general alien vibe.”
Same hunch. Same long neck. Same head shape. Same silhouette. Same jewelry placement.
Come on.
Maybe there is some explanation here. Maybe it was licensed. Maybe it is the strangest coincidence in recent comic art history.
But looking at the images side by side, it sure looks like that STAR WARS alien was traced or lifted into official SUPERGIRL merchandise.
That is a huge problem.
This is not fan art posted on Instagram.
This is official DC product tied to a major movie.
If there is an explanation, DC should give it.
If there is not, pull the print.

Last year I met Todd McFarlane and he signed my Spider-Man Omnibus. He was the first comic book artist I knew by name.
I told him how I received the first wave of Spawn figures as gifts when I was 5 years old. I didn’t even know who Spawn was at the time but my older brother vouched for Todd/Spawn as the coolest thing going.
Weirdly enough I also met his wife Wanda McFarlane later that day and since Todd wasn’t able to sign my Spawn Volume 1 slipcase, I asked Wanda to sign it (seeing as how she was an editor of early Spawn) and she did and it’s possible I have the only Spawn Origins volume 1 slipcase signed by Wanda
