Deno posted Bun-Node compatibility stats a while back. I did not notice any push back from the Bun team, so I guess it is accurate. "Bun aims for 100% Node.js compatibility." Bun suits my needs, but ouch, how can the gap still be so large?
And because it uses Node itself under the hood, there are no unexpected behavioral divergences.
Here's how it does on Deno's Node.js compatibility test suite:
To George and Laura, Bill and Hillary — we're grateful for your friendship, counsel, and devotion to this country. And to Joe and Jill, thank you for being on this journey with us.
VoidZero is joining Cloudflare.
Our mission stays the same: to make JavaScript developers more productive than ever before. Vite, Vitest, Rolldown, Oxc, and Vite+ remain MIT-licensed. Evan and the VoidZero team will continue leading them.
Cloudflare shares our commitment to open source. Together, we can keep investing in the tooling developers rely on every day, while bringing the Vite ecosystem and Cloudflare’s platform even closer together.
Bun 1.3.14 release notes are HUGE! So impressive!🎉
There was an idea many months ago that there would be quantified reporting with each release on progress towards this goal, but the compatibility page looks "the same" as it did last year.🤔

Finished HBO’s GoT today. I’ve also read the books. I don’t think the series ended poorly. I do feel sad about the decisions some characters made but not upset to conclude the eighth season is trash. Looking forward to Martin finishing the written storyline. Could even happen. 🤞
