@oneyorkshiregay@PeterKelma65741@ottawascot Europe literally glorifies their work/life balance, late work starts, long lunches, and summer breaks.
Meanwhile the USA emphasizes blue collar work that starts before sunrise and ends after sundown, with minimal time off year round.
@CFCDaily Last summer Europe complained about the heat/weather, so now they’re not playing games during the heat mid day. Now we complain about the start time.
@CFCDaily I understand it’s not perfect for Europe, but I’m so over the complaining about KO times.
It’s been decades of fans around the world doing this for major international tournaments, fans of European clubs, champions league in the middle of work days.
@NBA Never seen a more rigged sport in my life. Wemby is on like 7 flagrant fouls, even the announcers are saying it’s obvious.
Every single game has the worst officiating since ‘02 kings/lakers.
I say this with no rooting interest in either team (Bucks fan).
@jasonrmcintyre@Michael_watk Ok, Giannis is a bit behind Joker on Offense advanced metrics. Meanwhile on defense, Giannis is an NBA DPOY while Joker is a D3 benchwarmer.

@jasonrmcintyre@co0pgoesVr00m@hawk_1914 1.5 years off - living in motel 6’s, coach buses, training/playing baseball in high school facilities.
Meanwhile today’s NBA players fly private jets, stay in the penthouse, 1000x better fitness training and can’t manage to play a game for $500k a night.
@salingergregor@emssilly Another European that doesn’t grasp the vast size of the USA. Cities can take 2+ hours to drive across, states can take days.
Austria is the size of Indiana. Imagine if Austria had 1 pro team that everyone in the country had to travel to for each match. That’s the USA.
@_hoodiegawd@SharpFootball Yeah every kid that would be watching these games had their own athletic event tomorrow at like 8am.
Regardless of that, no good parent is letting a kid stay up this late.
@TheRealRedShed Wow 2nd round? As a 3 seed? So another loss as a favored team.
I guess 1 deep run in 9 years is too much to ask. Not like Bo had the Badgers in the Sweet16/elight8/FF more times than not.
@barryisthedon Is this really any worse than it is now? Wow a few “big” wins vs Mich/IL/Purdue. No conference championships, no NCAA tourney wins.
The standard was clearly set under Bo. Win the conference every 4-5 years. Sweet 16+ every 3 years.
@r2dave2@ESPNMilwaukee@BradNortmanisms I’d agree they’re not snakebitten, they have poor coaching. They made at least the sweet 16 eight times with Bo. Greg made it his first year with Bo’s players, never again.
It’s one thing if they’re losing to top seeds, but they’re consistently losing as favorites.
@r2dave2@ESPNMilwaukee@BradNortmanisms Far too many times in that 9 year stretch they have been a much higher seed, even favored by double digits (like today) and lost.
@r2dave2@ESPNMilwaukee@BradNortmanisms That kinda proves the point. That’s the expectation, make the 2nd weekend at a minimum.
Teams coached by Greg can barely win a tournament game, and never made the 2nd weekend.
