@ithacarising Conflating 2 things. France is highly bureaucratised but that doesn't presuppose that the systems don't work. Other experiences are available. Few people take to social media when things go smoothly. My experience couldn't be more different

@LotsOfTreesHere Just here to offer a slight counterpoint to some things here. Local amateur gardeners rot comfrey in a bucket with a small tap at the base and draw off concentrate which is then diluted. Laughed at me (nicely) suggesting to soak leaves in water.
