Gerry McNamara stopped by our @ESPNSyracuse studio this morning along with Vinny Lobdell. We talked about a number of topics from the roster & scheduling to the importance of NIL. Gerry gave us some insight into why retaining Sadiq & Kiyan was so critical in building his roster.
@nflrums He was #13 last year, even accounting for missed games I think he’s more like top 10-12 as opposed to top 5. He’s an amazing Athlete, but there are better overall WRs right now.
@NEPatsKiko I don’t think we’re hurt at all, I’m just surprised at the way he left, ruined a legacy with clown behavior, kinda sad. I think our passing offense will be better without him, less to do with his skills, more to do with the fractured relationship with the QB.
@RobAnderson_rob@pick_six22 Just watch his 7 PM in Brooklyn interview with Taylor, he basically said he purposely put stuff out to the media to “motivate his team”
@SportsRadioWIP I rarely agree with what Spike has to say, but this is SPOT ON. I don’t know why AJ has acted the way he has the past few weeks especially, but became an absolute clown.
@PatriotsGlobal2 Are we talking about actual evaluations or just trying to spin stats? TODAY Drake Maye is not a better QB than Jalen Hurts, but that MAY change over time. Jalen has been to 2 SB in the past 5 years and outplayed the BEST QB (general consensus at least) in both. Maye nds time
@NFLALLDAY So basically you are killing the product but can’t even communicate that clearly or transparently to your customer base. I think the announcement could have been handled better.
Yes it’s great that there will still (for now) be a marketplace to exchange our assets on.
