It's remarkable that the writer,
@jodyrosen - who as far as I know doesn't specialize in the game here - has a firmer grasp of what's going on than the American soccer MSM.

The fact that those who cover MLS chose to smear/discredit this person and this article by focussing on a slip-up (Suarez not being Chilean), is telling of how deeply insecure these folks are. Frankly, many of them are straight up scumbags.

By the way, @jodyrosen's goof on Suarez's nationality pales in comparison to MLS itself (the official account) publishing a picture of Arbeloa to announce Busquet's signing. 💀
