The answer is self-defense.
Defense from yourself.
Preventing yourself from getting addicted to stuff that's so god damn addictive.
This is a skill. A skill worth building.
Here's how I think it plays out.

After researching cold email there are 5 main factors
1) The audience
2) Level of personalization
3) Split testing
4) Be persistent. Follow up until they say no.
5) Not getting classified as spam
Looking back, most of the excuses I made...
not enough time
not enough money
not enough knowledge
not the right connections
...were just ways to avoid the real bottleneck.
Not enough courage.
There was always a small step I could have taken—if I had the guts to take it.
The best advice I ever received was to increase your "luck surface area".
- Work hard
- Befriend likeminded people
- Learn faster than others
If you do that, you will get lucky at some point.
So science created a safe, >94% effective vaccine for a previously unknown virus in under 12 months, and figured out how to mass produce it, and... we’re failing at *logistics*.
