@kate_rackham I have a friend who left birthday cards with notes for her girls in the years after she died. After the first year it was not helpful for them. The Dad decided not to give them to them as they triggered such grief and he felt hindered their healing.
@criminographer Look at those teeth! The milestones keep on reminding you of the passage of time. And that smile certainly must light up your world. Enjoy your girl date.
@criminographer My sisters fil died on Boxing Day and ‘Grandma’ understandably hated the memories of that day until her granddaughter reframed it. “it means you will never be alone on the anniversary Grandma, you will always be surrounded by family” and that really helped!
@criminographer Great photo of him with his Dad. Been thinking about him a lot. His journey is more private but no less devastating. Praying for your entire family as the dreaded day draws close.
@criminographer Go F you are a star! And with a smile like that, who can’t smile back (and that’s without the pizza!). I think F might stand for Fun today.
@criminographer@AmandaCOREed@CmtDbutterfly A friend or family member has bought it for you this year Emily. You will know when you are ready to hang it. Perhaps you had better duplicate it so your children can each have one and hang it for decades to come for your children’s children.
@criminographer Look at that baby girl- she’s gorgeous. Thank goodness F has her. All three of your children are beautiful. May those excited little faces bring some joy into a very sad season of remembrance.
@criminographer Stunning photo of Freddie and Peter, and your little Christmas fairy. Freddie is wearing the right sweater - he’s a star!
The missing grin hurts so much. He’s with you all always.
