A lot of you may not know this but one of John Lennon’s most famous songs is actually an Easter song. When his son Julian was a little boy he would only eat the chocolate bunnies and jelly beans in his Easter basket. He would leave the marshmallow chicks untouched. John and Yoko would tell him how delicious they were but he still refused to eat the sweet spongy treats. In an effort to convince young Julian to at least try one, John wrote the catchy song we all know and love today which was actually mistitled by the record company when it was released. So now that you know the story I encourage everyone on this Easter Day to go and listen to Give Peeps A Chance.
