@OverDrive1050 The Jays had offers for both Tucker and Bichette on the table but it wasn’t for 102 million a season combined and that is good business. Both players are good offensively, only one is defensively, but it’s the outfield, and neither are worth that money.
@OverDrive1050 Odog couldn’t be more right. There can be a snow storm going on in North London and it’s Sunny and dry in South London. Same city. Happens all the time. It’s called a snow belt.
@BlueJays@TD_Canada It can’t be overstated, this has to be the starting line-up the rest of the season. You can mix guys into games in later innings if needed but if you are serious about winning no one else starts. Forget matchups, play your best.
@wackawacka23@WorshipSoundGuy I mean there’s always testing involved but a Sunday morning environment can’t be completely duplicated mid-week. It’s also August not Christmas.😏
@Calbert1994 @dleahy00 Maybe but it was with Fred as well and doubling his salary to stay there makes even less sense. Not convinced there was much at the deadline for him either. Remember he was not good last year.
@Calbert1994 @dleahy00 The plan was to resign him, no one saw Houston’s ridiculous offer coming. It is what it is, Fred took the money, nothing wrong with that but not many around the league that think it’s a good contract.
@tyefor A full season of Otto & Poeltl, a new rooking who can shoot lights out in Dick, a solid guard in Schroeder, likely a better season from Scottie, a new coach to develop guys like Flynn better than Nurse did. Only subtraction is FVV who wasn’t good last year. Raps are much better.
@HayesTSN Sault Ste. Marie and Pittsburgh are both blue collar steel towns. Not really that far fetched for Dubas to think it feels more like home than Toronto.
@JLew1050 It will be an interesting week but I don’t think there is anything this week harder than firing the coach of the year and trading your franchise player who Raptors fans loved.
