@myles___p @crikey_news It's a major issue in much of the critiques against Trump. There is plenty to criticise all politicians without resorting to the poor editorial content where they pretend he is a unique evil compared with the corrupt conduct of so many other politicians.
@MichaelWestBiz@alanaustin001 Who cares about how it is relative to other economies. People look at their own situation and consider is it getting better or worse and am I where I want to be financially.
@marquelawyers It's not a bug, it's a feature..... Not sure whether to laugh or cry. Albo the same as the rest. Can you really rise to the top of a political party and be better?
@RegisBuckland@MichaelWestBiz@MRowlandMP Once I understood how the theatre is it's hard to get excited by the limited reform either does. And how both major parties protect a system that reinforces their duopoly, are against transparency and any serious anti corruption reform
@crikey_news@ConversationEDU How about we don't allow the lobbying. A register isn't a replacement for stopping corporations from getting their way vs what's best for the public
@crikey_news Seems strange to have such a cosy relationship between the politicians and the people the public hope will hold them accountable. Isn't the press gallery a closed group?
The RBA can't find the link between price gouging corporations making obscene profits and inflation. They haven't looked very frigging hard because US economist Robert Reich (and many other leading economists) have been screaming it from the rooftops for well over a year now.
