@WesleyLHuff I think it’s Amenhotep II. 1) He had a palace near Goshen, making Moses & Aaron’s trips to him realistic. 2) Manetho names the Exodus pharaoh as Amenhotep. 3) His mummy’s skin condition: BUMPY 4) Early date 5) 18th Dynasty fits the post-Hyksos xenophobia seen in Moses’ birth.

@JohnPiper The verse above refers to David lamenting the loss of Israel’s anointed warrior king and his son, honoring them. It’s a perfectly appropriate verse. Obviously there is more work to do in explaining the Bible, as both these men pictured lived to do.
