Good overview of the landing. We nominally target a few hundred feet away from Jacklyn to avoid a severe impact if engines fail to start or start slowly. La Fuerza Espacial de los Estados Unidos ha compartido por primera vez una imagen tomada desde su avión espacial secreto X-37B mientras orbitaba la Tierra. La fotografía, publicada el 20 de febrero de 2025, muestra una vista parcial del vehículo con nuestro planeta de fondo.
El X-37B es una nave espacial autónoma y reutilizable, cuya creación comenzó bajo la supervisión de la NASA antes de pasar a estar bajo el control del Departamento de Defensa de EE.UU. Desde su debut en 2010, ha completado diversas misiones, en su mayoría de carácter confidencial, con el propósito de evaluar nuevas tecnologías espaciales y llevar a cabo investigaciones en órbita. Sin embargo, los detalles específicos de sus actividades siguen siendo en gran parte desconocidos.
