@JProsser07@callumcrosby1@mark_robinson_ Again… if Haaland fouled him why was he sent off and the play brought back.
Exactly it was play on because there was no foul and no need to bring it back. If there was a foul for DOGSO it would have been brought back for the red card regardless if United scored or not
@JProsser07@callumcrosby1@mark_robinson_ And the phase of play ended with Cherki scoring but it was still ruled out and brought back for a foul and red card. You can’t play advantage when it’s a red card offence
@JProsser07@callumcrosby1@mark_robinson_ Exactly… so how is that different to the Jones ‘foul’ yesterday? If they thought it was DOGSO they’d have to pull it back, send off Jones and give a peno.
@AdamJoseph Not true. They’d have looked at that anyways, if it’s a red card they’d have to rule out the goal, give a peno and a red card. Remember Haaland at Anfield, Szoboszlai fouled him and even though city scored they brought it back for the red card
@UtdAlen No. They’d have looked at that anyways, if it’s a red card they’d have to rule out the goal, give a peno and a red card. Remember Haaland at Anfield, Szoboszlai fouled him and even though city scored they brought it back for the red card
@nuzza00@Scott_Pert That’s not how it works… if it was a foul and a red card, VAR have to go back and give the peno and send Jones off. They obviously looked at it , seen there was no foul but yet someonhow they let the hand ball stand…
