@EddCoates We run very popular gaming wikis and experience the same problems. We wrote a post about it: https://t.co/JkoknchJGe
Most of our days are currently spent trying to identify traffic patterns that aren’t human. Absolutely sucks
@ChartUpdate@AngusMoorat I’ve watched every day and BBC did advertise ITV games on the 1st(?) match day, but have not done it since, only mentioned 5 Live. Seems dumb tbh, as ITV are mentioning BBC both on air and in social posts
ITV have been more consistent advertising BBC games both in gfx + verbally
@Nick_Metcalfe BBC choosing instead at the end of Scotland game to not promote Australia v Turkey and also flash up a graphic with Scotland’s upcoming games that just said “Sounds” rather than ITV
Which is weird as BBC did promote ITV games a couple days ago. Very inconsistent…
@gadsden_jack@PolitlcsUK@thetimes You say “the only way to implement that” so confidently and yet it is perfectly possible for AI models to run locally on modern day smartphones. Apple already does this.
@frankinsensible@VividThoughts_1@PolitlcsUK@thetimes Most smartphones in the year 2026 are extremely capable of doing this kind of analysis using on-device machine learning, where the photos are never uploaded anywhere.
I don’t know how that is controversial in the slightest.
