I believe the mistake we've made is to allow people driven by a (covertly White) Christian Nationalist mindset to influence and to a large degree define what Christianity is today.

What they preach is not Christianity, it is rather a Political Ideology framed around the concept of American Nationalism, exceptionality and conservative economic principles. It is that capitalist mindset that gave us the Prosperity Message - a message that focuses on self as against selflessness.

That is why the fundamental belief in that hemisphere is that they are the Chosen and custodians of God's mandate with the superior knowledge of knowing what is right from wrong.

People of faith must extricate themselves from this mindset and embrace the true teachings and core principle of Christianity which is to end to what Apostle Paul called "the curse of the law" and create a new covenant where there is no male and no female, no Jew nor Greek, no slave nor free but ALL ARE ONE IN CHRIST JESUS (Gal 3:28)

Any teaching that makes you believe that your humanity is superior to others or that some people are special because of race, religion and ancestry is not Christianity. It is Idolatry. Such should not consider themselves Christians.

We must have the courage to call this out.

Beyond reducing him to a screwdriver seller in Onitsha who somehow swayed President Donald Trump’s decision to strike a terror group in Sokoto, the piece cast doubt on his research methods and questioned the credibility of his conclusions.
Some parts were painful to read. It felt like watching a nineteen-year-old Mike Tyson at the height of his ferocity take on Portable in an Oshodi showdown. Emeka never stood a chance..."
