@MarcusArelius68@Bitcoin_Teddy Yeah fucking totally. Who would want a fucking totally scarce asset that is divisible and allows property rights to the unbanked world. Always been a test of first principles thinking.
@Roubini18@BitcoinPierre Equities will exist forever, but ownership should be reserved for fiat kings that love fiat things. Hard money is the key to prosperity in an inflationary system. Not taking on the risk of a pubco. Who i might add is doing the opposite to you - they sell stock to buy btc
@BTCBreadMan@BitcoinPierre I couldve got burned, and even though it ended well for me, it was an unnecessary risk that i regret taking. This is why i see parkers warning as very timely and important. Satoshi gave us a gift and buying equities strips us of big parts of that gift.
@BTCBreadMan@BitcoinPierre I get that, i honestly bought some too. When it was cheap and the market was hounding saylor like it is now. I did really well out of it. I liked the simplicity of using company cashflows to buy btc and never sell. Strategy is another beast now.
@BitcoinPierre I disagree, parkers argument is rather persuasive. Why would an individual forgo owning the underlying asset? Slick marketing is why. A chairman who's entire brand was buying and never selling. Whos own advice was to sell everything (including equity) to buy spot bitcoin.
@BTCBreadMan@BitcoinPierre The correct allocation for the vast majority of individuals is 100% spot 0% equity. Why have we come so far to then onboard all the extra risks associated with holding an equity? If you want btc exposure today you are mad to not buy the base layer asset and hold it cold.
Wait until you know the feeling of holding nothing but the scarcest asset known to man, without any intention of ever selling it. The low time preference outlook in all aspects of life that follows is pure bliss. I hope you experience it one day.
@parman_the Parman im about to build a node for a buddy. How long do you think 1tb of storage is enough for a full node running parmanode? Storage is so damn expensive i had no idea it was this bad.
@akafaceUS Dad looks super busy doing more important stuff than entertaining his own baby while it plays with tape covered in toxic chemicals. Nice, sick hack bra.
@TheJerzWay You are a moron. The ATO accesses 2.7 billion data points each year. They are one of the most sophisticated tax offices in the world because we have one of the highest tax rates. If he plans on returning to australia he is fucked because yes that is evasion.
