@BrendanSchaub Disagree. He needs to leverage this next fight to Connor McGregor or Max Holloway. I think Justin demolishes both of them. McGregor’s face will look like Tuporia’s and Holloway in a rematch against Gaehtje will get finished like Dustin Poirier’s rematch against Justin.
@BKSecretsports No chance at a 2-2 card at that point. The DR. tried to call it after the 3rd and against the rules Topuria had an extra minute to recover. Topuria won the 2nd but the 1st round he spent the entire time walking into punishing jabs and uppercuts for 80% of the 1st round
@SauceGPT Such a devastating submission from an exhausted face broken opponent. Justin wasn’t giving him a good sportsmanship pat on the back as he watched the clock expire. He was definitely about to be choked unconscious or have his neck broke.
@grantcohn 👏🏼 great sourcing on this take. Glad to hear what you completely made up because nobody in the organization you cover is willing to talk to you
@mitchellvii Why would they cheat and boost the more liberal candidate to go against Bass? Seems like they would prefer Bass to go against Pratt who she could easily beat
@SStricklandMMA@SmiteThee7 What about all the accusations too… I mean I understand wanting to somewhat toe the line for Daddy Trump. But man there seems to be a lot of circumstantial evidence that he probably did mess with kids. Didn’t know we were giving passes for that type of shit
@jasonrmcintyre I mean… he is right. We can all see that right? Universities will start getting rid of non revenue generating sports as football and basketball consume more of the AD budget. It appears inevitable once you start to allow schools to directly pay athletes. Its an arms race
@wthomassports Finally! I have been seeing X influencers accounts repost this all day calling him a hypocrite. Meanwhile everyone in the comments section can immediately recognize Saban is correct about the future of college athletics
@JakeBequette91 Man I continue to see Twitter accounts post this same take. Yes it is a complicated issue, but what is not complicated is to see that Saban is correct on his forecast future college athletics. 2 things can be true
@esidery I mean he is right about that. Football and basketball programs effectively fund the athletic programs. As those two sports start to suck in more money, athletic departments will start cutting other sports programs.
