@peterhaskell880@wcbs880 Peter, many thanks to you and your colleagues for years of excellence and care in reporting about 9/11 and the impactful programs which grew out of the tragedy, including @911day. I always looked forward to our interviews, including the one depicted in your photo here!
On September 11th, the Twin Towers fell.
On September 12th, New York City got up. People of all backgrounds united by love for this city and each other. We rebuilt.
Today we honored those we lost with a day of action with @AmeriCorps and the @911day Organization.
Thank you, Joe. It was my honor to participate in this important session and share views about the potential and productivity of people coming together in service for the greater good, as we do each 9/11 Day (photo), and other meaningful lessons learned in the aftermath of 9/11.
A riveting conversation about the importance of caring for each other and the value of service. A moving and inspiring program, moderated by @Sept11Memorial President Elizabeth Hillman and featuring @howardlutnick and @JayWinuk.
The numbers are in! We are so proud to showcase the work of our corporate and community partners from this year's #911Day.
Did you participate in 9/11 Day this year? We want to hear about it! Let us know how you helped someone in the comments.
9/11 Day would not be possible without the extraordinary support of more than 200 sponsors, led by @Citibank and @Americorps that came together this year to provide funding for our 9/11 Day Meal Packs, while mobilizing thousands of their colleagues to volunteer. Thank you!!!
As we continue packing meals for those in need across the country, our co-founder --@JayWinuk-- talks about the inspiration behind and the purpose of today's day of service. #911Day#StateofUnitedness
@peterhaskell880@IntrepidMuseum@911day@wcbs880 Thank you, Peter, Tim, and everyone at WCBS 880, for your always excellent journalism, for helping to ensure that we never forget and that, at the same time, we can move forward by working together in unity for others in need.
Plenty of energy @IntrepidMuseum as thousands of volunteers pack food as part of @911day. People are asked to commit acts of service and do good deeds in response to the horror of the terror attacks. The day was co-founded by @JayWinuk, whose brother Glenn was killed. @wcbs880

Last year, on the 20th anniversary of 9/11, we introduced the world to some amazing individuals from our ambassador program in a #StateofUnitedness. Join us tomorrow as we share their stories of courage, survival—and most importantly, compassion—as we remember the fallen.
Let’s return to compassion and unity. There’s a lot of good in our nation, and a lot of important work to be done. Let’s start anew now. @JayWinuk https://t.co/fy0fL4Ny0U
9/11 day has becoming the biggest service day in the U.S. Learn what you can do this year @911day when @jaywinuk joins @q1043 award winning “sonstein Sunday” 7:15 AM
Jay Winuk is blasting former President Trump and the pro golfers who are part of the Saudi-backed LIV golf tour. Winuk says “the utter disgusting stench of that blood money is sure to follow you all the rest of your days.” His brother Glenn was killed on 9/11. @wcbs880@911day
