@davidshor @lilbabygandhi No. A huge part of culture is what happens when people gather together to watch/hear/experience music, theater, dance. When you get out of your room LA is very different than SF, which is dif than Oakland. Manhattan is dif than Brooklyn. Lots of overlap, but distinct local cltres

@NewsCop9000 @mrianleslie I'd say they have primary influences, to which they've added a wide array of other sounds/styles over decades. I wouldn't call the Stones eclectic, but if 15 albums sound quite distinct, "sameness" misses the mark, imo.
