Europeans are arguing that Americans don’t understand football culture because our stadiums are too corporate.
Meanwhile America looked at a breakfast pastry, turned it into a mascot, lowered it into a giant toaster after the game, and then ceremonially sacrificed and ate its remains on live television.
The Pop-Tarts Bowl wasn’t a sporting event.
It was a Roman festival with sponsorship money.
And it was magnificent.
He ripped off his aluminum foil like Magic Mike. He danced all game. They dunked pop tarts on the coach. And after the game the winning team ate a 3 foot tall (that’s a meter) pop tart cooked with a giant toaster
This wasn’t even a massive game. It was Kansas State and NC State
I didn’t think it had to be said, but I think gambling on the sport you play is wrong and there should be a severe punishment for it. I also think sports leagues and tv networks should not be sponsored or have any involvement in sports gambling.
@ColterUSA@RealSpitfire No it’s not a game. But you have a fundamental misunderstanding of California election law and how our system is operated here. If we are going to win anything here then it needs to be understood how that works. And you obviously don’t.
@ColterUSA@RealSpitfire No…they’re used to determine the top 2 who advance to a new round. Think of it like the college football playoff. Does the 2 teams that win the semi finals start the championship with the score they had in round 1?
Went to vote today for the California primaries
The guy next to me called over an election worker because his ballot didn't include the LA mayoral race
The worker checked and told him it was because his registered address was in Malibu, which is outside the City of LA
The guy then asked if he could provide another address
To my surprise, the answer was yes
So he gave the worker an LA address, they voided his previous ballot, issued a new one, and suddenly he was able to vote for the mayor of LA
How is voter ID not mandatory in all 50 states?
@World_Avenger17 I think I would ask why dem pacs are giving money to Hilton? That seems suspicious. And sure his talking points are great but he’s never actually done anything that would say that he can keep the promises.
@World_Avenger17 The fact that you so blindly believe a foreign national who has been a citizen for less than a year has this states best interest in mind is hard to believe. Voting is about your voice and conscience. In a primary I will vote for who I personally want.
