Hope this helps a leader today … hiring is a very challenging game …. No matter how many background checks or referrals.. it’s like drafting in the NFL .. you can do all the work before hand but until they’re on the field on your team you won’t know.
The gentleman that I'm referring to in this post that I fired in four months……The reason his first day was the day I knew, was within the first six hours, four different people came up to me telling me how inappropriate and difficult it was to interact and work with him and how he made them feel. No matter how talented or capable someone is, if they're unable to hear me during the interview process on how important it is to get along with the other boys and girls on the playground they have no shot of succeeded .. my friends hiring is an unknown … promoting and firing is knowing
