@stephkorey@andrewchen I’m not sure what “brand marketing” is. Brand, marketing, and advertising are all different. If you don’t build a brand that communicates clearly and stands for something bigger than your product - everything else will be much harder. And riskier.
I quite like this quote from @redantler from a recent @FastCompany magazine.
A lot of advertising is lipstick on a pig, a creative veneer that's hamstrung by the brand reality and marketing strategy having been set already.
