Seems like self defense. The attacker immediately stopped when seeing the mace then made fast dodging movements, doesn’t seem like him backing away.

I don't care that they claimed thousands, but there were 275 illegals convicted with sex offenses in just 11 days, so probably not wrong. Also, 60% of the us population is also white, so it doesn't seem disproportionate.
