This is how gaslighted the Manchester United fan base is.
Our owners spend 50% less on wages than City and Liverpool. They spent 50% less on new players compared to Liverpool — who won the title. It’s not an issue.
🗣️On Sunday, if you’re on the US tour and attending the game. Please meet up at Atlantucky Brewing between 12-4pm.
Some good reds meeting up at this tailgate and a couple of 58 reps will be there as well.
Oh, and a ‘walk’ to the ground as one United fan base. 👀

FC58 Statement of Intent
On Saturday, FC58 (The 1958) attended our first AGM as a member of @WeAreTheFSA.
The day covered important issues affecting football supporters and supporter groups across the country. However, for us, the real eye-opener came through direct conversations with other fan groups which we have also been having behind closed doors for some time.
There’s a reason why fans at other clubs have achieved results on ticket pricing, concessions, and fair treatment for season ticket holders and members: because their supporter groups work together — balancing meaningful dialogue with meaningful protest.
That’s the difference. And the harsh truth? We are miles behind.
To protect our fans and our culture, dialogue alone is not enough. Without consequences, words are empty. Right now, our FF and FAB representatives can argue and shout behind closed doors — but the club knows full well that when they leave the boardroom, nothing will happen. No follow-up. No pressure. No change.
At other clubs, it’s different. Their groups act together. They speak with a single unified voice. Because of that unity, they get results.
To be blunt: when it comes to working together and holding our club to account, we are — as things stand — an embarrassment.
There are reasons for this, and they will become clearer in the months ahead. Here’s what’s certain: this must change and will change.
On July 1st 2025, we will publish our Unity Charter — a clear, uncompromising statement of what we believe every fan group and every supporter must stand behind if we are serious about changing things.
Before it is released, we will share this Charter with other fan groups for feedback and — we hope — agreement. A line in the sand needs drawing and fans need to understand which side of that line groups are on.
Because things must change. Shouting at the moon in a room achieves nothing if there are no consequences.
FC58 intends to make this difference — to unite, to act, and to make sure our club understands that failure to listen will no longer go unanswered.
This is the start.

🗣️SUNDAY 3PM SMBW/CHESTER ROAD
📍Sir Matt Busby Way (junction with Chester Road)
🕞3pm (form behind the large banner and queue down Warwick Road)
🚶♂️We head to Old Trafford
⏹️ We stop on the forecourt
We hated them 20 years ago, we hate them now!
- Fans spending their last penny to get to the final.
- Fans taking time off work.
- Fans jumping through hoops to get to Bilbao.
The club and team don’t give a shit didn’t even come over.
👉Bullshit social media posts from our club. They don’t care about us, look at their actions. Do not believe them.
👉Rotten owners who only care about profit and dividends.
👉Sacking Gladys from the canteen but yet spend £500K for private jets for vacant and immoral owners on a vanity trip.
This Sunday we protest again. We need a cultural reset at all levels for us to move forward. That is the only way or nothing will ever change.
We have always said we will move to the next level if an action is supported. The 58 are 20 lads of all ages and all walks of life, NOT 75,000 in Old Trafford, remember that.
Until then we will work within what is pragmatic and achievable. Support what is being done not what is not being done. It’s that simple.
Wednesday night was a disgrace to our clubs heritage on so many levels, it is being stolen from us bit by bit.
Are you not angry? Do you not care?
If you don’t now then you never will.
The 1958🇾🇪
Both these flags were hanging on the scaffolding in the square yesterday. The lads went back to collect them and they were gone. Can people RT and try and help get them back to the lads please. 👍🏼
@ISLO_MUST im appalled at the local police.
Had to pay 1 euro at fanzone for a cup. At the ground man I was man handled until it was give up as the local police deemed contraband but used language as an excuse.
The money isn’t an issue but a principle @ no signs
Our full statement released to the press this morning.
🗣️ 20 Years of Glazer Ownership: A Legacy of Ruin
May 2005 marked one of the darkest days in the history of Manchester United Football Club. The Glazer family became majority shareholders, triggering a compulsory takeover that was completed on 29th June 2005.
That moment signalled the beginning of the end for the soul and community of our once-great club — sacrificed at the altar of corporate greed.
Sir Alex Ferguson, a staunch supporter of the Glazers then and now, masked the damage with unprecedented success on the pitch. Since his retirement, the rot beneath has been laid bare for all to see — the true cost of 20 years of financial exploitation and mismanagement.
👉The club is drowning in over a billion pounds of debt (down to Glazer greed and betrayal)
👉Our fanbase is fractured and divided (down to Glazer greed and betrayal)
👉Our stadium neglected (down to Glazer greed and betrayal)
Hundreds of millions have been siphoned off to service that debt — not by the Glazers, but by our club.
All while the Glazers continue to pocket dividends, year after year, regardless of failure on the pitch.
Old Trafford, once the Theatre of Dreams, is crumbling from decades of neglect.
They have taken everything. They have stolen it all
Now, even Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s arrival has come at the cost of hundreds of jobs, further punishing a fanbase already suffering under the Glazers’ reign. Lifelong, loyal supporters are being driven away from the club they love — priced out and pushed aside. Another dagger in the heart of our footballing community, club moral in the gutter. It’s never been worse.
Make no mistake — this is the legacy of the Glazer family: greed, decay, and betrayal.
Our final home game of the season is against Aston Villa.
We stand together as a generation have done before us.
To make it clear: 20 years on, the fire still 🔥burns🔥 Red — with fury and defiance.
We are at that crossroads again, 20 years ago media, government, ruling bodies and a lot of fans stood by and watched it happen. History is repeating itself, we are sleepwalking into the abyss again with the ownership, fans being trampled on and a stadium being pushed through for all reasons other than football and community heritage.
The game is being stolen from under our feet, the heart and soul being ripped out of every club, look around, look at other clubs now waking up to what United fans have known all along.
We will do our part to stop this, will you do the same?
We want the Glazers out of our club.
They were never welcome.
They are not welcome now.
They will never be welcome.
We stand together shoulder to shoulder in defiance once again at the Villa game.

United pricing out our most loyal supporters.
Who have supported home and away for decades.
Hit with a 50% plus ST price hike.
Shameful decision by the club to once again cover Glazer greed and mismanagement.
They want the loyal fanbase gone!
The Glazers need to go!

🗣️Shall we begin: Announcing protest Arsenal 9th March
We have been preparing for this for a few weeks in anticipation.
We are angry, the fans are angry and it’s been building for some time.
We have all been more than patient.
We all know the root cause, we have always known the elephant in the room.
Yet, this isn’t being addressed.
It’s those who can least afford it, have the most emotional connection with our club who are being asked to pay the price in more ways than one.
Trampling over generational support and memories of friends and family who handed the club over to us like something they have stepped in.
- The treatment of fans from the club
- The eradication of fan culture
- The assault on concessions and generational fans
- Putting profit before fan safety
- Putting profit before everything
- The total lack of communication and transparency
- The uncertainty of our clubs future
The club preach fan engagement the reality is they dont practice it. We know this first hand and have evidence.
ACTIONS NOT WORDS ITS NOT GOOD ENOUGH
They can hold meetings with the FAB which is all under NDA. It is supposed to be for the fans YET they can’t tell the fans anything. It’s a disgrace!
These meetings are effectively gagged and it is NOT open and transparent dialogue with fans. Not even close.
The silence from the club is deafening.
We rise again to defend our club and be warned this will not just be on the street campaigns at the ground.
Keep treating the fans with contempt at your peril
