You know you've been using the terminal for too long if you try to close your Messages window by typing "exit"... and end up really confusing your mom 🤓
@cnakazawa@davis7 can relate. (see latest Nerd Snipe about Astra). This is also a pet peeve of mine, but too much of a fine line in English maybe… Can you blame the model?
@theo Presented at my local Claude Code meetup and wrote about it here: I Built My Own Agentic Development Environment in a Weekend https://t.co/EtNgilp0CX
@theo I built a DIY clone of the Codex App as a responsive web app as soon as I saw your video about it. Runs on my phone (through Tailscale) and my laptop as daily driver. It runs claude -p processes inside of docker containers from a Node server.
@kieranklaassen@trq212 I didn’t understand what @bcherny meant here anyway with this 5m loop, that can’t possibly be right? (I suppose he has unlimited tokens anyway but yeah)
3/ Two of the most powerful features in Claude Code: /loop and /schedule
Use these to schedule Claude to run automatically at a set interval, for up to a week at a time.
I have a bunch of loops running locally:
- /loop 5m /babysit, to auto-address code review, auto-rebase, and shepherd my PRs to production
- /loop 30m /slack-feedback, to automatically put up PRs for Slack feedback every 30 mins
- /loop /post-merge-sweeper to put up PRs to address code review comments I missed
- /loop 1h /pr-pruner to close out stale and no longer necessary PRs
- lots more!..
Experiment with turning workflows into skills + loops. It's powerful.

@theo Edit: T3 *Code* of course. Also, running inside Docker is nice so I can go permissionless, only the folder with code is mounted and several other folders are shared. I also use a VPS so this may be overkill but I’ve seen agents grep the entire home folder before.
@theo I’m running my own vibe-coded Claude GUI, and I really want to switch to something like T3 chat so I won’t have to maintain this! I would need: 1) run Claude/Codex inside Docker and/or remote VPS, 2) see full git diffs, 3) manage Docker (compose) to actually run code.
@karpathy Yep this is literally my fully productive coding setup today. Bespoke app: multiple sandboxed claude prompts, git worktrees, docker running, all on a VPS so I can 'code' from my phone and then move to my desktop when I want to. I vibe coded this. Would NOT have worked last year.
@devongovett I just feel like my app does a lot more than multiplying one signal value with another one. All this discussion about Hello World demos is super unhelpful.
@thdxr Am I the only one thinking my programs usually do a heck of a lot more than doubling integers, and this is going to create a heck of a mess in real life?! 🤷♂️
I’m actually thinking this can’t just be the ‘window manager’ that’s causing all these issues. There must be something deeper in the OS that they added and are only using with Stage Manager, like some new memory management model or whatever.
So here I thought the last update to iPadOS public beta finally fixed most of the issues with Stage Manager. And then I lost an hour of work in a browser tab because I switched away from it. Nice work Apple 🤦♂️
@pmbAustin I like it on mobile. The whole thing seems super optimized for mobile: it’s a news feed (which I think is smart), eye popping colors (looks good on modern small screens I think), but on desktop it quickly becomes too much maybe.
