An explosion at the U.S. Embassy in Oslo, Norway, early on Sunday may have been a deliberate attack linked to the "current security situation," the country's police force has said.

Winter’s not done yet!
Our latest batch of snow is melting, and the beginning of climatological spring in March is around the corner. Lest we begin to think the next season is about to start, more wintry weather may be in our near future.
In addition to a barely noticeable chance of flakes early Wednesday and another light inconsequential rain with maybe some wet snow mix Thursday, a potentially bigger and perhaps multipart event looms early next week. We could see a few rain or snow showers from it as soon as late Sunday. Larger waves of wintry weather currently look to arrive Monday as well as Tuesday.
It’s far enough out to have little confidence in progression or precipitation type. For now, the Monday wave appears to be light to moderate snow or a wintry mix. Tuesday looks more like a wintry mix to rain.
Several atmospheric disturbances are slated to ride the jet stream into the area during this time frame. While neither currently seems intense, the first could run into a fairly cold air mass, with high pressure to the north feeding more cold air, plus temperatures not far from freezing Monday.
Over time, the high pressure to our north is forecast to shift east into a position that could allow relatively milder air to work in. If that’s the case, odds of snow to wintry mix and rain increase over time, with any precipitation falling on Tuesday. However, temperatures are forecast to struggle much past freezing and we know cold air can be stubborn to leave.
At the moment, a high end in this scenario appears to be light to moderate wintry impact locally. The American model suggests a heavier strip of snow from northern Maryland into Pennsylvania with the Monday wave. Since it’s six to seven days away, such details will certainly change — we’ll of course have more as it evolves.
🚨 NEW: Trump disinvited Maryland Gov. Wes Moore from a bipartisan governors’ dinner.
Moore is the only Black governor in America — and the vice chair of the National Governors Association.
Everyone else was welcome.
He wasn’t.

Donald Trump is withholding billions of dollars in New York infrastructure unless he gets Penn Station and Dulles Airport named after him.
This is not only brazenly corrupt. It is sick, twisted and egomaniacal. The time is long overdue for sane Republicans to stand up to Trump.
BREAKING: Three former Fed Chairs unite to condemn Trump's "unprecedented" efforts to "undermine" the central's bank independence with his sham criminal investigation into Jerome Powell.
Trump really touched the third rail this time...
“This is how monetary policy is made in emerging markets with weak institutions, with highly negative consequences for inflation and the functioning of their economies more broadly. It has no place in the United States whose greatest strength is the rule of law, which is at the foundation of our economic success,” Alan Greenspan, Ben Bernanke, and Janet Yellen wrote in a statement along with 13 other economic officials including Treasury Secretaries from prior administrations.
The repudiation was bipartisan as Greenspan served as Fed Chair under Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Clinton, and George W. Bush. Bernanke served under W. and Obama. Yellen served under Obama and then as Biden's Treasury Secretary.
Over the weekend, the New York Times revealed that the U.S. attorney’s office in D.C. under Jeanine Pirro is criminally investigating Powell in connection to renovations to the Fed headquarters. The "inquiry" is a fabricated pretext for punishing Powell for refusing to lower interest rates despite Trump's repeated demands.
Yellen stated separately that financial markets should be concerned about Trump's targeting of Powell because it's "extremely chilling."
“I’m surprised the market isn’t more concerned. It seems to me that the market should be concerned,” Yellen said.
“Knowing Powell as well as I do, the odds that he would have lied are zero so I do believe they’re going after him because they want his seat and want him gone,” she added.
“You have a president that says the Fed should be cutting rates to lower rate payments on the federal debt,” Yellen continued, stating that she disagrees and it represents the "road to a banana republic.”

George Conway: “Donald Trump is a man who represents all the things we teach our children not to be. He’s a liar. He’s a thief. He’s a molester. He has no remorse, no shame, no empathy. He has no loyalty to the law, to the Constitution. This man is the lowest character of all”
