Multisectoral women's groups picket in front of the Senate in Pasay City on Thursday, March 7, 2024, calling against moves for a charter change on the eve of International Women's Day.
The groups expressed concern that charter change proposals are likely to advance pro-foreign interests and tolerate pro-traditional politicians, which, according to the protesters, would adversely impact Filipino women.
