I know there's so many things to look forward when the nightmare ends, that there are terrible things currently happening and there are much more important things in the world, but I can't wait to be able to go watch a GAA match again
While governments create revenue by taxing cigarettes, smoking costs them money too.
Sick of this conspiracy nonsense, suddenly everyone is an expert. If, like me, you're not an expert, then listen to the experts who are advising us and working their arse off to save lives.
Triggered. What a statement
1: you can't catch smoking 20 Benson a day, and while addiction is complex, smoking is a choice
2: okay, governments tax cigarettes. They should, because it's something we should discourage in society, as it's bad for our health
With all this COVID going on just remember around 78,000 people die from smoking each year but because it generates billions in revenue it’s legal. So please don’t think they’re worried about our health because they really ain’t
3: there are countless campaigns out there, many government led, to discourage smoking, so don't imply that the government doesn't care about our health
4: there's a massive economic cost to smoking, the total economic cost being $1436 billion in 2012 (Goodchild, 2018).
As we get ready to head into a 2nd surge, just heart warming to see the impact Physio has on recovery

Back in 1998, @TheLancet published a trial comparing high intensity strength training to light exercises and thermotherapy/massage in CLBP. Conclusions were something like: we have no idea why, but strength training is clearly superior! #oldbutgold#loadit
