1 to 2 didn't seem like a big deal. One parent per kid if needed depending on the circumstances. Diaper change, food, play, bed time etc.
3 was the big leap depending on how close their births are. You're outnumbered. Ours are all around 18 months apart. There's a lot of craziness in the younger years with the amount of development they go through that can feel overwhelming when you're not prepared for it because, it's of course, your first time experiencing it. But you learn and adapt.
4 for us didn't feel much different than having 2 or 3.
Btw, we have 5 children and it has been an amazing experience all along the way. We wouldn't trade it for anything. It just gets easier (The basic child rearing part. They all have different personalities which is a whole different conversation) because you're used to it and know what to do in a much more comprehensive and relaxed way.
@Rainmaker1973 The issue with these videos is they do not depict what it really looks like. The camera needs to be higher and about middle of the plate or slightly closer. A batter is not getting that much time to react as seen in a video.
Back in the early 2000s we used to pool together change to buy tacos from Taco Bell for $0.70 each. I remember a few of my friends and I were using a coinstar because we had so many pennies and nickels. A nice lady came up to us and gave us $20 for food for 4 teenage boys. There's no way you could feed that many teenagers for $20 today and feel full.
Finally finished and it is not a good movie. Even an average movie should be entertaining. A group of middle schoolers and highschoolers could have written this and it would have been more fun to watch. Mediocre.
@Ryudoz82@RealSkipBayless Rule changes:
No timeouts after the 2 minute warning
Cut the play clock to 20 seconds after the 2 minute warning
Maybe ban the intentional kneeling after the 2 minute warning but they'll figure a way around it
@MargoCatholic@RealSeanithan Kraft American cheese is bad. Tastes like sawdust mixed with salt & oil. Publix & Walmart are bad too. The best is Kroger brand. It's comparable to McDonald's or Dairy Queen. Melts perfectly & tastes great on a burger or grilled cheese
It's not "proper" cheese, but has its place
Something similar happened to me a few weeks ago. Was mowing one of our overgrown fields we leave alone over fall/winter and about had a heart attack when a fawn (a bit older than the one you found) jumped out and ran away when my mower was about 2 feet from it.
As it was happening, my brain processed it as the largest rabbit I had ever seen.
They will let you get ridiculously close before attempting any sort of escape. There have been a few times doing yard work where I've had no idea one is around and this cute creature makes you think a monster is about to attack once you get a single step away. Their color pattern is very effective.
Verses 22-25 are dealing with a child born prematurely due to striking a pregnant mother. Exodus is Case Law. Specific situations are being dealt with. It's how to deal with commandment 6, you shall not murder.
Verse 12 has already dealt with striking a person so that they die. The verses about a premature birth due to striking the mother are specific to the child and the child's outcome, not the mother's
Verse 22: No injury to the child prematurely born then a fine is imposed. It even leaves it open for no fine to be imposed ("fined as the woman's husband may demand of him").
Verse 23-25: If the child has an injury then the punishment changes. A dead child requires the life of the offender.
@TruthOof@SwallowBug11 It was 23c this morning in Northwest GA with 93% humidity. I went on a 3.5 mile run.
The current temperature is 26c at 80% humidity.
This is normal for the US in the summer
The only significant bad stat Nolan Ryan has is total walks.
Ryan's career ERA is right there with Clemens, Maddux, and Johnson.
He holds the record for fewest hits per 9 innings which is a remarkable feat over 27 years.
Roger Clemens has more hit by pitches in a shorter career. Same with Randy Johnson.
Clemens, Maddux, Johnson, Glavine, Scherzer, and Verlander have all given up more HRs over their shorter careers.
I couldn't get an exact number for this but around 100 of his losses were when opponents scored 3 or fewer runs. Not much run support from his teams. 42 of those losses were when he only gave up 2 runs pitching at least 7 innings.
Just saw this heartbreaking stat. He once pitched an 11 inning complete game, striking out 19 batters and lost 0-1.
@noahpasaran@chesterBirdbath Some pretty high profile billionaires have left so far:
Larry Page
Sergey Brin
Mark Zuckerberg
Peter Thiel
Travis Kalanick
Steven Spielberg
@Jumsy81@notgaetti Ryan had a fantastic ERA. Only 10 pitchers since 1960 have had a career ERA under 3. That list gets even smaller after 1968 when MLB lowered the mound.
Roger Clemens 3.12
Greg Maddox 3.16
Nolan Ryan 3.19
Max Scherzer 3.24
Randy Johnson 3.29
Justin Verlander 3.33
John Smoltz 3.33
