The constraint isn't demand, its supply side (compute, power, infrastructure). e.g., U.S. grid-connection lead time 4+ years. And the recent PJM example (largest U.S. grid): the proposed 15-yr power funding commitments for new DC hookups would increase greenfield financing friction (DOE)
Using Gemini 3 recently reminds me that having the best model def matters, but distribution might matter even more. If you have both, wow.
Google might be best positioned. Buying Android for ~$50M seems like such an amazing deal (global distrib for everything theyre building now)
OpenAI’s hardware push with Ive is interesting, but if those devices are 2+ years out? That’s an eternity while Google keeps compounding (and maybe Apple but less clear, licensing for now). And meanwhile Anthropic keeps up momentum in enterprise.
Will be interesting to look back at this in the future and see if OpenAI was fighting too many fronts.
@thatsKAIZEN@thatsKAIZEN for president!! Seriously man. Thank you for sharing your views. Always super clear, fair, well-articulated. We all would greatly benefit if more people approached things the way you do. #kaizen2028
@WomenReadWomen Ok but did that investor also invest in or back this specific show or others that push specific agendas? That would seem like a more clear and direct conflict of interest. Need to be clear thinking and fair in logic

@ZebBoykin If you get the vids from tpusa (not just the back one, also the 1-2 cameras that were rolling in front of tent), that likely solves this right? Esp since those should be high qual
@chamath If you've never been inclined to explore working in private sector, I think (unfortunately) odds go up that you think like Bernie, are not a fan of personal agency, and don't get the "earn" and "reward" thing
@Giuliano_Mana Common sense (although definitely good to reminded about common sense from time to time!). I think the third point could be explained better, eg, how about in the context of VC.
"I strive to be as accurate as I can be in a world full of harmful conflict and partisanship in which distortions and sensationalism are threats to everyone’s well-being."
Interesting to see fans using tools like Nano Banana + Seedance to generate anime content.
Does this democratize anime and expand fandom?
Or does it flood the market (make trusted curation and authenticity even more valuable?)
Super interesting
