-Ella Byers (sub) 0.000 ERA / 1 Strikeout (Ella is a 13U player currently playing for 3P Lady Irish 2029 Byers)

We had combined 1 earned run, 17 strikeouts, and .677 ERA, with a .135 Batting Average Against. We only allowed 3 total runs!

Overall, it was a great weekend against fantastic competition. I think it was a great way to wrap up the winter season before reporting to their respective high schools. I believe they are ready to make an impact on their high school teams.

Video footage captured during the funeral procession for Chris Kyle, known as the ‘American Sniper,’ spans 200 miles from Midlothian to Austin.

Kyle, a Navy SEAL sniper, served four tours in the Iraq War and had 160 confirmed kills.

He was awarded a Silver Star, three Bronze Star Medals with "V" devices for valor, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals with "V" devices, among numerous other unit and personal accolades.

On February 2, 2013, Chris Kyle and his friend Chad Littlefield were tragically shot and killed at a Texas shooting range by Eddie Ray Routh. Routh, like Kyle, was an Iraq War veteran suffering from severe Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Kyle had agreed to mentor the young veteran and chose a local gun range for their first meeting. During the drive, Kyle and Littlefield realized how troubled Routh was. "This dude is straight-up nuts," Kyle texted Littlefield. "He's right behind me," Littlefield responded. "Watch my six."

Upon arriving at the range, Routh grabbed two pistols and fired multiple rounds into both men, killing them instantly.

Routh was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
