@gregauman Interesting one. Due to make $18m this year and will be 32 next February. Can’t see the Bucs wanting to go too much higher than $20m per year in a new contract although more guaranteed money will be just as important to Vea.
@TyMarshall_MEN@fadol230 Agreed but a good World Cup and the shortage of left footed CB’s on the market could help create a market for him. I can imagine he’s not particularly happy with his current contract status either so could be pretty open to leaving.
@TyMarshall_MEN@fadol230 Maybe but I also don’t think a new CB late in the window can be totally ruled out if De Ligt’s recovery from back surgery doesn’t go to plan. I also wonder if Lisandro Martinez could be the surprise sale of the Summer if there is to be one.
@TyMarshall_MEN@fadol230 I don’t think it’s outrageous to expect seven signings, especially if one is a backup GK. Three CM’s, LB, LW and a back-up striker?
@AdamCrafton_ I would be concerned if it wasn’t for the fact that João Pedro hasn’t even made the Brazilian squad when he should be starting as their number 9. Bizarre omission.
@shaunconnolly85@Theatre_of_Red I’m a bit surprised from a PR perspective that they’ve allowed the media briefs about him being their dream target to carry on for so long. It will be hard to spin that we’ve had a great transfer window when our top target has joined our closest rivals.
